Tripresale is a digital marketplace where users can buy and sell prepaid, non-refundable travel reservations converted into NFTs. These reservation NFTs function like tickets: you can redeem them and enjoy the service on the specified dates or resell them on the marketplace before the deadline.

2. How can I buy a reservation NFT on Tripresale?

To buy a reservation NFT, first register on Tripresale and connect your wallet. Then, navigate to the NFT marketplace, select the reservation you want to purchase, and complete the payment with the accepted cryptocurrency. Once the payment is confirmed, the NFT will be transferred to your wallet, and you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your reservation.

3. Can I cancel or request a refund for my reservation NFT?

Reservation NFTs are non-refundable. If you do not wish to use your reservation, you can resell the NFT on our marketplace until the deadline (11:59 PM local time the day before check-in). If the NFT does not sell, you must use the reservation as originally booked. It is important to review the service provider’s cancellation policy before purchasing an NFT.

4. How do I sell my reservation NFT on Tripresale?

To sell your reservation NFT, log in to Tripresale and go to your dashboard. Select the NFT you wish to sell, set a price (subject to the provider’s conditions), and confirm the listing. Your NFT will appear in the marketplace until another user buys it or you manually withdraw your listing.

5. What information do I need to redeem my reservation NFT?

When redeeming your NFT, you must provide your full name and email address. This information will be shared with the service provider to issue your official reservation confirmation. Only minor typographical corrections are allowed once the NFT has been redeemed.

6. What is the deadline to resell my reservation NFT?

The deadline to resell a reservation NFT is 11:59 PM (local time) on the day before the check-in date. For example, if your reservation is for July 20, 2025, you can sell the NFT until July 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM according to the accommodation’s time zone.

7. What fees and commissions does Tripresale apply when buying or selling an NFT?

When buying an NFT, you pay the acquisition fee (the NFT price plus a small platform commission). When selling, Tripresale deducts a transaction fee from the final sale price. Both fees are clearly displayed before you confirm the transaction so there are no surprises.

8. Is it safe to use Tripresale and its reservation NFTs?

Yes. Tripresale operates on the Polygon network, a secure and well-established blockchain. However, remember that blockchain transactions are irreversible and digital assets can be volatile. We recommend using strong passwords, safeguarding your seed phrase, and always verifying addresses before confirming any transfer.
